Library

I started my role as part-time primary school librarian in March 2020, just as the whole country went into lockdown. It was a strange beginning to my new job; going into an empty library and a half empty school, working in bubbles and not really knowing what was going to happen.

I focused my attention on creating a colourful, welcoming and inspiring space for when the children returned, making reading posters and Dewey Decimal pictures for the library. I have continued creating reading displays across the whole school, many of which are on a scale much larger than my usual work, with the largest being a whopping 4.5m long!
